Foreword
To all of those living beings inhabiting this planet with a measurable pulse and the ability to think, this book was written for you. It was written for the down-hearted, the overweight, the stressed, the injured, the discontented, the angry, and the depressed. This is the first in a set of three very different books centered around teaching you the many attributes of a free spirit philosophy.

This book was written from my heart with passion and love. I have something of value to share with the world. It is easy and it works. It is effective, and fast. It may take a little practice, but anything worthwhile does.

If you are not living the life you wanted, this effort is dedicated to you. I give you my word that this book is all you need.

Good health is the obvious first step toward the ultimate goal, which is to re-introduce you to happiness. I intend to show you how to evict your mind’s current tenant, negativity, quickly and consistently. I will show you how to set up triggers to always keep your composure and handle adversity

I will show you how to make the connection between your mind and body. Health and self-awareness is the reward you get from purchasing this book. Good health needs no elaboration, but the power of thought and the study of the mind will serve the modern student very well in the future.

The limitations that exist, are merely products of our beliefs. It is a difficult thing to believe what seems inconceivable at this moment. But, looking at it from an historical angle, human limitations have proven to be largely illusion.

Let’s travel back in time a few hundred years. The internet has made information on veritably all things available to the general public...We can look up anything on everything in just a matter of a few clicks.

Jefferson could have written the Declaration of Independence on MS Word, with a spell-check feature and fancy fonts. They could have all just forwarded an email to KingGeorge@Royalty.uk.

I was intending to show the irony, because that would have been inconceivable to our “Founding Fathers” generation. So, who are we to believe we have reached new limitations? Is it true that the only limitations we have are those we create for ourselves and the result of the consensus beliefs that are real because we believe it is real?

The answers we need are already available, waiting for thought to come along and bring it into existence.

I elaborate more about what this book will offer to do for you.

Teach you the Power of Thought and Belief…The placebo effect is power-proof

Teach you the easiest, most simple way to improve your health.

Activity is the word I use in place of “exercise.” To an obese person, the word itself inspires dread.

Restore the true definition of “diet.” It is not a verb. It is not something you can start and stop. You can change your diet, but good or bad, you are always dieting.

What you choose to eat is directly linked to your progress. We are not wired to live in a state of restriction…So, don’t.  Eat the foods you love, just mix it up with increasingly smarter choices.

Give your body what it needs to carry out the desired action-weight loss and muscle tone.

Variety-I never repeat the exact same workout. I use all resources, including chores, to increase my activity.

The power and usefulness of Music Playlists.  Depending on how much time you can dedicate, choose the appropriate Playlist.  5 songs will last roughly 20 minutes, 10 songs-40 minutes.

Let the Music consume you. Set up your playlist to correspond to the stage of activity. As you start, use a song with a slower tempo. Increase it until it peaks in the middle and then choose songs that will enhance your cool off period.

The little things we will be doing take such a small commitment, yet, throughout the day, persistency does add up. Ideally, you should dedicate 10 minutes of every hour to being active.  That is not always possible, but we do not live by convention…There are a host of activities you can do without even drawing attention to yourself.

Teach the essence of the “free-spirit philosophy.”  This is the underlying thesis in all three books coming out this year. Real change starts with belief. Health removes your shackles and frees your spirit to engage life.

This series of books will change millions of lives by introducing an approach to life that follows the premise that it is not in our nature to live with restrictions or dread for any sustained period of time…Changes are never permanent.

We do not want to keep track of points and calories. We do not want to look on as our friend scarfs down a brownie-fudge sundae as we stir our black coffee faster and faster. We enjoy eating, because that is central to life and the world provides such abundance and variety.

I used to start a diet every Monday. I was who Einstein was referring to when he was quoted as saying, “Only a fool will continue using the same approach and expect different results.”

I Have Lived Two Very Different Lives

It is a book intended that will show you how to use the wisdom in these books with a true spirit and attain the highest level of perfection a human has the capacity for reaching.  Nothing is impossible. We must simply manipulate what you believe.  I call it “Happiness by Choice” because that is exactly how easy it is to be happy.  Choose to be happy, believe it will be delivered, and then believe you have received it, then it arrives, right on schedule.  It is as precise as any other natural law.

Using the Free Spirit Philosophy as a guide in your approach to life, literally liberates you.

When I applied this approach to fitness, the pounds came off so easily.  In October 2006, I tipped the scales at a whopping 285 pounds.  Without making any announcements that I was going on a diet, or even had plans to improve my health.  I just sort of followed my spirit.  My free spirit, until he led me to develop many projects on spec.

What images does a person conjure up in their minds when they hear someone being described as a “free spirit?”

I did not spend money on a cabinet full of supplements, expensive home gyms, or gym memberships.
